Millie and Nick had a beautiful and fun wedding, which perfectly reflected their loving personalities and relationship. We met this couple last year at a coffee shop in Lawrenceville and I connected instantly over their love and background with the Young Life organization, a ministry for youth which I was lucky enough to be a part of in high school. Millie and Nick met at a YL camp in Arizona and now volunteer as adults. I love to see a couple that connects and devotes their time and attention to a common passion. We believe that God can use couples in huge ways when they work together for a common cause, and Millie and Nick are living proof of that!

Nick and Millie incorporated several unique traditions and customs from Nick's Filipino heritage into their wedding day. During the ceremony, relatives draped a veil over them, representing shelter, safety and support. A cord was placed on the veil to represent unity. They were also given coins for good fortune and prosperity. During the reception they enjoyed a "money dance", as guests gave money in exchange for the opportunity to dance with the bride or groom. I personally think that tradition should be taken advantage of more often!

Congratulations, Millie and Nick! We look forward to following the #LampaLoveStory for many years to come!
